Alpa | Reflex with TELEFLEX Viewfinder Estimate: €4,000–5,000 Year: 1944 Serial No.: 120130 Condition: B- English: Early ALPA Reflex from the first production series, featuring the highly unusual TELEFLEX-engraved waist-level reflex finder, a designation associated with Jacques Bolsky’s earliest experimental and pre-production ALPA cameras. This camera belongs to the pioneering Series C, introduced in 1944, but remarkably retains the earlier “TELEFLEX” designation on the waist-level reflex finder, along with the inscription “MADE IN SWITZERLAND – REFLEX – PATENTS PENDING.” Noteworthy is the matching serial number 120130 on the camera body and removable back, confirming that they were originally paired. Fitted with the early and period-correct P. Angénieux Type Z2 2.9/50 mm lens, no. 32453, forming a historically authentic combination from the earliest years of ALPA production. Preserved in its original condition, with an authentic patina. German: Early ALPA reflex camera from the first production series featuring the extremely rare “TELEFLEX” reflex viewfinder—a designation associated with Jacques Bolsky’s earliest experimental and pre-production cameras. This particular example belongs to the Pioneer Series C, introduced in 1944; remarkably, however, it still bears the older TELEFLEX designation on the light-well viewfinder as well as the inscription “MADE IN SWITZERLAND – REFLEX – PATENTS PENDING.” The identical serial number 120130 on the body and the removable back confirms that they were originally part of the same set. Includes an early, matching P. Angénieux Type Z2 2.9/50mm No. 32453—a historically accurate combination from the early years of ALPA production. Original condition with authentic patina.
