FED | Fed Sport Estimate: €1,600–1,800 Year: c. 1940 Serial No.: 32 Condition: B- English: Fed Leica-type camera equipped with an ingenious trigger-operated rapid-wind mechanism incorporated into the baseplate. Based on a Fed-S/Fed-1-type body with a shutter speed of up to 1/1000 sec., the camera is engraved with “ФЭД-спорт” (Fed SPORT) and individually numbered 0032. The rapid-wind mechanism is also engraved with a similar inscription. Only a very small number of Fed-Sport cameras are known to exist, including nos. 024, 025, 0044, and 0045.
