Year: Circa 1970–1971 Dial: Black matte dial with luminous round, rectangular and triangular hour markers displaying warm yellow patina, white outer minute track, luminous Mercedes hands, centre seconds and depth rating 660ft = 200m, signed Rolex Oyster Perpetual Submariner, Swiss-T<25. Calibre: Rolex automatic calibre 1520. Case: Stainless steel Oyster case with screw-down case back, crown guards, screw-down winding crown and bidirectional rotating bezel with black graduated aluminium insert, case numbered 2669277. Diameter: Approx. 39 mm Gross Weight: Approx. 116.8 g Bracelet: Rolex stainless steel Oyster bracelet, reference 93150, with signed folding clasp stamped VE, approx. 185 mm, adjustable. Signature: Dial, case, crown, bracelet and clasp; movement. Accessories: None. Condition Report: Overall grade: Good. Case: Surface wear, scratches and marks consistent with age and regular use; noticeable wear to the case and lugs, with some softening of the original edges and proportions. Dial: Black matte dial displaying age-related wear and patina. Luminous hour markers have developed an attractive warm yellow colour. Hands/Markers: Luminous hands and hour markers showing age-related patina and oxidation. The luminous material appears aged, with some variation between the hands and dial markers. Glass: Noticeable surface scratches and marks consistent with age and use. Bezel: Black aluminium bezel insert displaying surface scratches, wear and fading consistent with age. Rotating bezel with signs of wear; missing lume at 12. Movement: Clean and running at the time of cataloguing.
