Year: Circa 1960s Dial: Silvered sunburst dial with applied onyx and silver faceted baton hour markers, centre seconds, blackened baton hands and date aperture at 3 o’clock, signed Omega Automatic Seamaster De Ville. Calibre: Omega Automatic movement, probably cal. 562. not open for inspection. Case: Stainless steel case with faceted lugs and signed Omega crown, screw-down case back with embossed Seamaster hippocampus medallion; Diameter: Approx. 34 mm Gross Weight: Approx. 37.9 g Bracelet: Black leather strap with unsigned pin buckle, adjustable. Signature: Dial, movement, case and crown. Condition Report: Overall grade: Good. Case: Surface wear, scratches and small marks consistent with age and regular use; some more pronounced wear visible on the case sides and lugs. Case Back: Surface scratches and wear consistent with age; embossed Seamaster hippocampus medallion remains visible. Dial: Attractive overall condition with age-related spotting and light surface marks, particularly around the outer edge and lower portion of the dial. Hands/Markers: Age-related wear and oxidation visible under close inspection. Glass: Surface marks and light scratches visible under close inspection. Movement: Automatic movement running at the time of cataloguing; functions not fully tested. Bracelet: Later black leather strap with creasing and signs of wear consistent with use.
