Upholstered in black leather and fabric with a matching cylindrical headrest. Cassina edition, 1980s, 19704 Signs of wear A true icon of modern design, the LC4 chaise longue was first presented at the Salon d’Automne in Paris in 1929 by the trio of Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand. Nicknamed the “resting machine,” this revolutionary chair conforms to the shape of the body and offers a self-supporting recline on its base, allowing for extended rest without any fixed points of tension. This true work of art has been produced exclusively by Cassina since 1964 as part of the I Maestri collection.
