ANONYMOUS Silver (800 parts per thousand) savonnette pocket watch, hinged front cover in silver (800 parts per thousand), engraved with geometric and floral motifs, white enamel dial, black railway-style minute track, hour markers in black-painted Ottoman numerals, silver and blued hands, small seconds at six o’clock. The hinged back cover in silver (800 parts per thousand) is decorated with geometric and floral motifs; the metal dust cover bears the inscription “Le Roy à Paris.” Mechanical movement with manual winding via a pendant, lever escapement, marked “Les Brenets .” The watch was non-functional at the time of appraisal; there is no guarantee of future functionality or the condition of the parts. Scratches and dents; hands detached; damage to the dial; the small seconds hand is missing. The “Le Roy” inscription is most likely not original. Circa 1900 Diameter 53 mm Gross weight 114.6 grams
