LÉPINE IN PARIS 18K gold (750) pocket watch, white enamel dial, black railway-style minute track, black-painted Arabic numeral minute markers, black Roman numeral hour markers, gilded Louis XV hands. Engraved case back with a central design depicting the Arts. Mechanical movement with manual winding via key, balance cock re-drilled with two screws and a counter-pivot, rosette for adjusting the rate, fusee and chain system, verge escapement, marked “L’ÉPINE PARIS.” The watch was in working order at the time of appraisal; however, there is no guarantee of future operation or the condition of the parts.
