ANONYMOUS "Shell" pocket watch in 18K gold (750 parts per thousand), hinged bezel and case back in 18K gold (750 thousandths) decorated with radiating lines engraved with crosshatching, and painted black, blue, and yellow motifs. White enamel dial, black-lined minute track, black-painted Arabic numeral hour markers, blued hands. Mechanical movement with manual winding via key, balance cock re-drilled with two screws and a counter-pivot, rosette for adjusting the rate, fusee and chain system, verge escapement. The watch was non-functional at the time of appraisal; there is no guarantee of future functionality or the condition of the parts. Scratches on the case; damage to the dial.
