HAMPDEN WATCH CO 14K gold (585 thousandths) savonnette pocket watch, hinged front cover in 14K gold (585 thousandths) with guilloché pattern, decorated with floral engravings and a blank cartouche, white enamel dial, black minute track, black-painted Arabic numeral hour markers, blued leaf-shaped hands, small seconds at six o’clock. The hinged back cover in 14K gold (585 thousandths), engraved in the same manner as the front, with a maker’s mark in the cartouche; inside, the inscriptions “DUEBER” and “14K.” Dust cover in 14K gold (585 thousandths). Mechanical movement with manual winding via a pendant, lever escapement, signed “CANTON, O,” and numbered. The watch was non-functional at the time of appraisal; there is no guarantee of future functionality or the condition of the parts. Scratches on the case, cracks in the enamel, issue with the stem/crown. Accompanied by an 18K gold chain (750 parts per thousand) approximately 35 cm long and a gold coin, likely Italian.
