Marking(s); notes: Stamped "H & Co HENNIGER" and "DEPON." on the underside. Materials: Silver-plated nickel silver (Neusilber) and cut glass. Cataloger Note: Antique German silver-plated and glass centerpiece by Henniger & Co., executed in an elaborate Baroque and Rococo Revival style. The ornate silver-plated standard features a tiered baluster stem decorated with repoussé floral motifs, scrolling foliage, and four stylized feet. Supporting a wide clear glass dish with a scalloped rim, frosted underside, and geometric crosshatch decoration. The central stem extends into an intricate pierced silver-plated holder designed to accommodate a glass flute, bud vase, or candle insert. H. 13.5" x 11" diameter. Age wear. Good condition.
