Light brown half-leather binding with raised bands, spine decorated with gilt fleurons, marbled paper covers; illustrated cover of Volume I preserved (lined, with some missing sections). Dedication “A gift from the author” signed “Mongin” on the half-title page of Volume I. A reference work on old Toulon, by the city archivist. Ex-libris by André J. Tardy. Good condition; ink stains on the first pages of Volume I, small scuffs on the raised bands.
