Umbach, Jonas Two Hunters on Their Way Home. Etching. 7.7 x 11.2 cm. Nagler 142, Haas 196, Beaujean (New Hollstein) 159. Magnificent print, trimmed to the edge of the plate, in some places with a tiny knurled edge. Slightly soiled on the reverse, very minor edge wear in the upper right corner, other faint signs of wear; otherwise beautiful. Included with this lot are the three etchings “Two Shepherds Resting Before Ruins,” “Resting Shepherd with a Shawm,” and “Two Duck Hunters” (Haas 145, 146, 193). - Please request condition reports for the lots, as the condition is only indicated in the catalog in exceptional cases. - Please ask for condition reports for individual lots, as the condition is usually not mentioned in the catalog.
