Flemish 17th century. The Annunciation. Etching. 19.3 x 14.2 cm. Signed in pen at the lower right: "MEMI 1608." Presumably uninscribed. An Annunciation that appears to have been uninscribed until now, and which we have been unable to trace further. Excellent, somewhat dry, yet clearly defined print in every detail, with a very fine border, partially cut into the image on the left. Slightly stained, two vertical creases from the bottom, additional handling and crease marks on the reverse; otherwise in good condition.
