This unlisted motif is likely a double portrait of the children Jens and Ella. Its private nature and the experimental, not yet fully developed scraping technique—comparable to earlier prints such as “Girl at a Semicircular Table” (Olufsen-Svensson 1)—suggest it was created around 1909. An excellent, vivid print; the plate edges are very distinct and show plate marks, with a narrow margin. Evenly yellowed and with foxing; the top edge is slightly browned and bumped; there is a spot in the white margin at the top left and minor scrapes in the lower right corner; nevertheless, the overall impression is harmonious.
