Signed “Fragment.” Bossi published his series *Fisionomie* in 1776. The artist’s humorously exaggerated peculiarities of the figures—all depicted in profile—contrast with the wonderfully delicate, extraordinarily fine technical execution of the etchings. The complete series of these humorous and witty depictions in magnificent, vivid prints with narrow margins around the sharply defined plate edges.
