Wierix, Johannes Christ and the Twelve Apostles with St. Paul. 14 copperplate engravings. Each approx. 13.5 x 8.5 cm. Mauquoy-Hendrickx 923–936 II, Hollstein 1168–1180 II (of III) and R20. The complete set of the second state with the frames, including the replaced sheet of St. Matthias (Mauquoy-Hendrickx 935, Hollstein R20). Excellent to very excellent, partly early prints with margins around the clearly defined facets. Some with isolated spots; St. John (H. 1172) with a small tear in the right margin; a few sheets with a faint watermark in the upper right corner (H. 1175, 1178, R20), overall slightly dusty and minimally browned, otherwise in very fine and original condition.
