Testa, Pietro The Holy Family, Adored by Angels. Etching. 31.1 x 24.5 cm. B. 12, Bellini 27 I (of II), TIB (Commentary) .012 S1 (of S2). Marked with a lily within a crowned circle. An absolutely excellent, crisp print, cut to the edge of the plate or with a very fine border around it; the corners of the plate are still sharp; predates Rossi’s address. Slightly dusty; on the reverse, slight dry creases and a smoothed center line; a few inconspicuous repairs in the corners; a tiny filled-in spot in the margin at the top left; otherwise a very fine copy. Rare.
