Dürer, Albrecht Christ on the Cross. Copperplate engraving. 11.8 x 7.4 cm. 1511. B. 13, Meder 13 c-d (of e). Sheet 11 of the series. An excellent, strong, and vibrant print showing traces of a slight knurling. Tiny fraying at the lower left; thin spots on the right margin, likely due to mounting, with backing paper applied there and a subtle restoration in the center; minor signs of wear; otherwise a very fine specimen. - Please ask for condition reports for individual lots, as the condition is usually not mentioned in the catalog. - Please ask for condition reports for individual lots, as the condition is usually not mentioned in the catalog.
