The reverse of the photograph contains a matching handwritten description in blue ink that states: "(Este es el Club) 'Condado' 1950", confirming the team identity and the historic mid-century date of the snapshot.Condado is a historic and prominent oceanfront district located in Santurce, San Juan, Puerto Rico. During the golden age of Caribbean and Puerto Rican baseball in the mid-20th century, regional leagues and neighborhood athletic clubs fiercely contested amateur and semi-professional series. This team likely represented a standout local club or regional powerhouse based out of San Juan's legendary coastal sector. The photograph is preserved in its authentic, completely raw vintage state. It displays a wonderfully rich sepia-toned patina along with minor edge wear, rounded corners, creasing, and historic handling blemishes (including a minor damp stain on the lower reverse) that perfectly underscores its decades-old regional sports provenance.
