In-8°, turquoise morocco leather, with a broad blue mosaic floral design and gold fillets adorning the covers; decorated ribbed spine; edges gilt on a strip of paper; linings and endpapers in embroidered silk adorned with a floral motif; color-illustrated cover and spine preserved; slipcase (P. Ruban 1906). Color illustrations, some enhanced with gold, by Manuel ORAZI, including fourteen full-page illustrations; decorative ornaments framing the text. Printed in an edition of 300 copies; this one (no. 223) is one of 260 on hand-made vellum. From the library of Dr. L. G. Chevance, with bookplate Spine slightly faded. A VERY BEAUTIFUL COPY IN MOSAICED MOROCCAN LEATHER.
