Quarto, Jansenist bronze-colored shagreen, ribbed spine, gilt head, untrimmed, original illustrated cover preserved (L. M. 1958). 37 lithographs in the text and as inserts by Suzanne BALLIVET. Printed in a run of 973 and a few additional copies; this one (no. 751) is one of 925 printed on large Renage vellum, including—unbound—an ADDITIONAL FREE SERIES of eleven plates not used for the illustrations. Spine faded.
