A frontispiece, a vignette on the title page, a header, a footer, and twenty plates by Georges ROCHEGROSSE, etched by Eugène DECISY. Each page of text is framed by an ochre border, different for each chapter. Printed in an edition of 400 copies; this one (no. 344) is one of 270 printed on Arches vellum. ENCLOSED is a card from the publisher announcing the sale of the original watercolors illustrating *Les Princesses*.
