In Paris, by the Compagnie des Libraires, 1726–1728, and in Paris, by the Compagnie des Libraires Associés, 1730–1733. 9 folio volumes, calfskin, decorated ribbed spine, title labels in morocco leather (contemporary binding). “Third edition, revised, corrected, and expanded by Father Ange and Father Simplicien […],” the finest edition of this essential work. A frontispiece by COYPEL, headpieces and initials engraved by COCHIN and TARDIEU, and numerous heraldic figures in the text. From the Le Mesre de Gruteghem library, with an ex-libris. Some wear on the caps and edges and water stains in volumes VIII & IX, but GOOD COPY. Saffroy, I, 10302. One copy on display at the exhibition; the rest available upon request.
