Oblong quarto, brown percaline, wide gilt frame decoration with the title “Touristen-Album” on the front cover, plain spine with decoration (publisher’s binding). A color-illustrated general title page & 91 engravings of views of the Rhine region by LANG & RUDOLF after DIELMANN, BAMBERGER & WEGELIN. The work is divided into ten parts, each preceded by a calligraphic title in color: “Rhein.” (33 plates); “Wiesbaden.” (6 plates); “Ems.” (6 plates); “Schwalbach & Schlangenbad.” (6 pl.); “Krengnach.” (4 pl.); “Frankfurt a./M.” (11 pl.); “Hamburg.” (6 pl.); “Kissingen.” (10 plates); “Heidelberg.” (4 plates); and “Baden.” (5 plates). The engravings are captioned in German and French. The binding is worn and slightly loose; some foxing.
