GODOY (Armand). Marcel. Dramatic Poem. Paris, Émile-Paul frères, 1932. In-8, paperback. First edition. One of 10 copies printed on Japanese paper, the only one on heavy paper. A lengthy dedication from the author to Ms. Marika Kaufmann, who witnessed the creation of this painful book and deigned to take a particular liking to three of its poems... Godoy also transcribed the three poems chosen by Marika Kaufmann onto the endpapers and half-title page of this copy (a total of 49 lines). Also included, by the same author: *Chansons créoles*. Paris, Les Amis d’Édouard, 1926. 16mo, paperback, untrimmed and uncut. A copy printed on Arches vellum, with a signed dedication by the author to René Lara (1872–1944), a journalist and lyricist, author of a book on the Théâtre Pigalle illustrated with photographs by Germaine Krull.
