A two-volume set in in-24 format, green morocco leather, straight gilt edge with red mosaic, smooth decorated spine, small interior lace, pink moiré lining and endpapers, gilt edges (Courteval).

A lovely edition printed in small Roman type and illustrated with 51 woodcut vignettes. Charming decorated and mosaicked binding by Courteval, with his abbreviated signature in gold on the lining: Relié Pr Courtval. From the libraries of John Cust and Charles van der Elst. The last leaf, Bb12, is missing (blank?). Corners slightly worn; scuffing on the cap bands with a small loss on two of them.
