SEQUENTIE DE TEMPORE & SANCTIS per totum annum. S.l., 1516 [in the colophon]: Strasbourg, Johannes Knobloch, July 17, 1516. Gothic quarto booklet of 4 and XXV leaves, half-vellum Bradel binding with corners (modern binding). A very rare Strasbourg edition of this liturgical work, partly edited by Jacob Wimpheling (1450–1528), another great humanist from Sélestat after Beatus Rhenanus. Only one copy of this edition is listed in the CCFr (BNU Strasbourg). Printed in Roman type, with the title set within a beautiful woodcut frame by Hans Baldung depicting the apparition of the Virgin to Saint John of Patmos. A few days earlier, Knobloch had printed a *Hymni de tempore et de sanctis* (37 folios).
