Gothic folio, half-sowhide with cold-stamped design on wooden boards, chain (contemporary binding). Basel edition of the Sentences by the theologian Peter Lombard (12th century), printed in small and medium Gothic type in two columns. The volume likely comes from a sale of duplicates from the Munich library (ancient handwritten note on the upper endpaper: *Duplum Bibliothecae regiae Monacensis*). It is housed in a contemporary monastic binding, with a chain that appears to be antique and is attached to the volume with a fastener at the back. The title page and the last 26 index leaves are missing. Water damage and wormholes are present on a few leaves. The two clasps are missing; the clasps are riddled with wormholes and have damaged edges.
