Engraved map of Lower Egypt by Joseph Kaiser c1820. This antique map depicts Lower Egypt (Unter-Aegypten), the Mediterranean coast, and the surrounding areas of the Sinai Peninsula and was engraved by Joseph Franz Kaiser(1786–1859). He was a prominent Austrian cartographer, lithographer, and publisher based in Graz. He specialized in creating highly detailed regional, travel, and historical plates. His workshop was renowned across Central Europe during the early to mid-19th century for executing crisp, fine-lined historical mappings exactly like the copperplate appearance shown here.
