John Trumbull - Battle of Bunker's Hill engraved by J Rogers 1853. This historical engraving of the Battle of Bunker's Hill was based on the famous work by American painter John Trumbull. It was engraved by John Rogers, an English/American engraver in 1853. It depicts a conflict that took place on June 17, 1775, at the beginning of the American Revolutionary War.
