On a trefoil base, the case is crowned with a seated allegory of Flora holding a fruit basket, accompanied by a putto with a wreath of flowers and the winged head of Chronos, richly decorated with sculpted rocaille ornaments and applied flowers (various inlays). Round enamel dial in a brass frame, under glass. Roman numerals with Arabic minute track, gilded decorative hands. Marked “Lund & Blockley to the Queen” at the 12 o’clock position. Round pendulum movement and chime on a bell. Underneath the base, a underglaze blue Meissen sword mark and model no. 2717. Circa 1880. Height: 43.5 cm.
