TEILLIET, Jean (1870–1931). “Landscape near Le Châtelard, near Saint-Junien, Haute-Vienne.” Oil on canvas, signed lower right, 73 x 92 cm. Framed. Jean-Cyprien Teillet was born on September 4, 1870, in Saint-Junien, at his parents’ home on Rue Saler (now Faubourg Liebneck). He was the son of Pierre-Séverin, a medical doctor, and Marie-Alexine Laveyssière.
