Robert Indermaur 1947, Chur Untitled. 1996 Oil on canvas Signed and dated lower right: Indermaur 96 Framed 100 × 70 cm For decades, everyday encounters, human behavior, and social quirks have provided Robert Indermaur with the material for his distinctive visual worlds. Born in Chur, this self-taught artist increasingly turned to figurative art after initial abstract experiments. His often whimsical figures, rendered with subtle irony and understated humor, explore human relationships, social constraints, and the contradictions of everyday life. In addition to paintings and drawings, he has created numerous sculptures and murals in public spaces, particularly in his home region of Graubünden. Auction date: November 28, 2026 Approximate auction time: 4:06 p.m. CET
