Rolf Brem 1926 Lucerne 2014 Michèle Bronze, dark patina Signed and numbered on the base: Brem 30/50. Foundry mark: Cire perdue F. Amici. Height 40 cm The female nude occupies an important place in Rolf Brem’s sculptural oeuvre. Beginning in the 1950s, the artist focused in particular on depicting girls in moments of contemplation and play. His figures are characterized by a lyrical, poetic realism that also allows for erotic undertones. This bronze depicts a standing female nude with her arms held behind her back and her head turned slightly to the side. The calm, composed posture and the understated modeling lend the figure a natural, unobtrusive aura. Auction Date: November 27, 2026 Approximate Auction Time: 5:14 p.m. CET
