Snuff Bottle and Coat Button The snuff bottle, likely from Lausanne, circa 1790. No maker’s mark or hallmark. Silver. Urn-shaped body on a round base with a hinged lid. The sides and lid are decorated with engraved garlands and dot motifs. Attached to a pendant chain with a spring ring. The tailcoat button is from Paris, 19th century. Manufacturer’s mark: Lorgnie, 69 Rue Richelieu. Silver. Domed shape with the relief coat of arms of the von Steiger family beneath a crown, featuring shield bearers and a motto ribbon.
