Harwood Patent No. 106,583 covered the first automatic movement for wristwatches. The time is set by pressing and turning the case back. Silver plated dial with Arabic numerals and railway-style minute track. Control indicator at 6 o’clock. Blued pear-shaped hands coated with luminous material. Harwood automatic movement with “15 Jewels,” finely finished with a pearl finish. Case number 102,355. On a leather strap with a plaqué clasp. Movement in good condition. Dial likely refreshed.
