Pocket Watch Chronograph-Rattrapante 49 mm / 585 gold / hand-wound / 1907 / 81 g / in working order. Ratrapante chronograph in a Lépine case for the American market. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals; sub-dial at 12 o’clock signed “Ergane.” Spiral-shaped tricolor “Kilomètres à l’heure” scale on the rim. Blued pear-shaped hands. Three-quarter plate movement with finely finished chronograph quadrature, screw-mounted balance, and Breguet balance spring. Solid Lépine case in 14-karat red gold. Engraving on the case back: “James C. Sheehan / July 8, 1907.” Case number: 44'017. In a period case. Fine hairline crack in the enamel dial between 9 and 10 o’clock.
