Montblanc “Lorenzo de’ Medici” Fountain Pen 1992. Limited edition, No. 1702/4810. Model number 28600. Octagonal barrel and cap made of 925 sterling silver, hallmarked, with guilloché pattern and engraved foliage motif; ends made of black precious resin. 750 bicolor gold nib, nib size M. Cap with screw-on closure. Complete set with lacquered wooden box featuring a numbered plaque, outer carton, warranty and service card, and a Certificat d’option from Montblanc France. Box has minor chips in the lacquer. Signs of age and wear. The 1992 “Lorenzo de’ Medici” launched the Montblanc “Patron of Art” series, which marked the beginning of Montblanc’s limited-edition line.
