Chest of Drawers Probably the Netherlands, Baroque, circa 1730. Body made of hardwood and softwood, richly marquetry, with 4 drawers. The front is strictly symmetrical, and the four drawers are delicately curved on both sides and feature a flat design around the keyholes. The marquetry, made of exotic woods, features borders in the form of wavy ebony bands and, for each drawer, three vignettes—also crafted from ebony—that highlight the center. The top and sides are decorated with star-pattern marquetry. The hardware was added later to match the chest of drawers. Original locks. The marquetry is coming loose in several places and requires restoration. Depth 60 cm, Width 128 cm, Height 93 cm Auction start date: November 25, 2026 Approximate auction start time: 4:01 p.m. CET
