Apparently removed from a jacket. Yellow enameled metal cherry blossom. Back of the piece is double-layered with white cotton fabric. Remnants of illegible kanji. Cherry blossom fasteners present. Note some wear and patina on the piece, as well as stains. Condition II+. Imperial Japanese Navy sleeve rank insignia. Introduced in 1942 for a second-class petty officer.
