Pair of Musical Angels. European School. 19th century. Enameled and polychrome tin. Dimensions: height 24 cm x width 12 cm x depth 8 cm (each figure, approx.). A sculptural group consisting of two child figures with parrot wings, dressed as Commedia dell’arte musicians, singing and playing the flute. The vivid colors and delicate modeling evoke the playful, narrative style of Central European porcelain, although executed in enameled tin with technical precision. The circular bases imitate green marble. These decorative pieces are typical of the 19th-century bourgeois taste for the exotic and tender, featuring allegorical and musical references. Due to its age and history of use, this lot may show signs of wear and previous interventions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no specialized technical testing has been performed. The absence of any mention of restorations does not guarantee that none exist. You may request additional information before placing a bid. This does not affect the buyer’s statutory rights.
Delivery is optional. You can use the carrier of your choice. The stated price does not include the lot price or the auction house fees.
