Beautiful Adoration of the Shepherds, 17th-century Roman school Oil on canvas mounted on panel. Measures 43 x 28 cm. A scene depicting the Adoration of the Shepherds in an architectural setting, with the Virgin Mary kneeling beside the Child lying in a manger, Saint Joseph behind them, and several shepherds approaching with gestures of veneration. Surrounding the central group are animals, children, and a retinue in the background that extends the narrative into the landscape.
