ITALIAN SCHOOL, 16TH–17TH CENTURY - Virgin in Glory Painted stone. Dimensions: 20 x 16 cm. A painted panel depicting the Virgin and Child in glory, surrounded by angels and kneeling saints. Given its format, style, and devotional nature, this piece likely originally formed part of a small altarpiece. An Italian work from the late Mannerist period, dating to between the late 16th and early 17th centuries. It shows traces of past restoration and visible repairs. The lot is currently held in an international warehouse (within the EU). For shipments within the EU, no import duties apply. An export permit from the country of origin may be required. Due to its age and history of use, this lot may show signs of wear and previous interventions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no specialized technical testing has been performed. The absence of any mention of restorations does not guarantee that none exist. You may request additional information before placing a bid. This does not affect the buyer’s statutory rights.
Delivery is optional. You can use the carrier of your choice. The stated price does not include the lot price or the auction house fees.
