Female figure, Senufo, Ivory Coast, 19th–20th centuries Copper alloy. Dimensions: 25 cm high. A female figure made of copper alloy, featuring stylized proportions and a marked formal simplicity. The piece has a frontal and compact design, with simplified anatomical features and a sculptural style characteristic of the Senufo artistic tradition. The surface retains a dark patina with greenish and earthy areas, as well as oxidation and irregularities characteristic of the metal alloy and the passage of time. Lot stored in an international warehouse (within the EU). Intra-EU shipping: no import duties apply within the EU. An export permit from the country of origin may be required.
