Two figurative pendants, Gan, Burkina Faso, 19th–20th centuries Copper alloy. Dimensions: 10.5 cm high. Set of two small figurative pendants made of copper alloy, featuring stylized human figures with a strongly schematic character. The pieces have a compact design, with simplified forms and an ornamental style characteristic of the Gan artistic tradition. The surface retains a dark patina with greenish and earthy tones, as well as oxidation and irregularities typical of the metal alloy and the passage of time. Lot stored in an international warehouse (within the EU). Intra-EU shipping: no import duties apply within the EU. An export permit from the country of origin may be required. Due to its age and history of use, this lot may show signs of wear and previous repairs. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no specialized technical testing has been performed. The absence of any mention of restorations does not guarantee that none exist. You may request additional information before placing a bid. This does not affect the buyer’s statutory rights.
Delivery is optional. You can use the carrier of your choice. The stated price does not include the lot price or the auction house fees.
