Bronze garrison clock. French School. 19th century Table clock accompanied by a pair of mercury-gilt bronze candelabras. The central body features an architectural structure topped by a classical vase, with a circular clock framed by plant and Greek motifs. The enameled dial, featuring blue and white Roman numerals, stands out against the gold background, while the six-branched candelabras echo the ornamental design inspired by the Neo-Baroque style. The set is notable for its rich modeling, symmetry, and the elegance of its scrollwork. This set, with a distinct Alphonse aesthetic, embodies the decorative refinement of France in the last third of the 19th century. Clock: 55 x 25 x 15 cm. Candelabras: 54 x 23 x 23 cm. Due to its age and history of use, this lot may show signs of wear and previous interventions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no specialized technical testing has been performed. The absence of any mention of restorations does not guarantee that none exist. You may request additional information before placing a bid. This does not affect the buyer’s statutory rights.
