Casanova,” with the date inscribed below, apparently “1886.” A childhood portrait of Gabriel Miró, depicted from the bust up and slightly turned, gazing at the viewer, against a dark background of reddish and brownish tones. The intensely illuminated face contrasts with the background and is rendered with loose, visible brushstrokes, which are also evident in the clothing.
