Nude in the Mirror, RODRIGUEZ SAMPER – Spanish School – second half of the 20th century Oil on canvas. A composition of a female nude created through the use of a mirror: a model appears with her back to the viewer in the foreground, while her frontal reflection occupies the right half of the scene; between the two figures stands a bearded man holding paintbrushes, seemingly intervening in the image itself, introducing a meta-pictorial reflection on the artist, the model, and representation. Signed in the lower left corner: “E. Rodríguez Samper.” Dimensions: 91 × 63 cm; framed: 112 × 84 cm. Due to its age and history of use, this lot may show signs of wear and previous interventions.
