Calcite-alabaster vase carved from a single block, in the shape of a chalice With a wide, flared rim, a slightly open body resting on a tall, truncated conical foot ending in a flared base. Beautiful honey-colored patina and white veining. The stone features distinct honey-ochre and cream veining, a polished exterior, and a deep, hollow interior, likely intended for perfumed oils or libations. Egypt. New Kingdom. 18th Dynasty. Visible cracks and small, old chips on the rim, with a large crack extending from the inner edge; however, the overall structure is stable. Slight wear and surface pitting consistent with long-term burial. The rim opening has been restored, with no missing pieces. Height 23 cm x diameter 14 cm.
