Austria Wedding of Prince Rudolf and Princess Stephanie of Belgium Box set containing 2 medals by A. Scharff, 50.5 mm, silver, 56.70 g, J.C. (Josef Christlbauer) hallmark on the edge; silver-plated bronze, 59.83 g, busts side by side facing right; reverse: Cupid with an allegory of Vienna holding a branch and the couple’s coat of arms. In their original case with a lid embossed with a double-headed eagle and the date “10 MAY 1881.” Hairline scratches, a dent on the edge, traces of verdigris; superb condition.
